Episode 290 - Torn Curtain
Thanks to the great retro screenings at The Roxy Cinema in Tribeca, NY, Jim Wallace and Jon Cross were able to see a 35mm print of the Paul Newman and Julie Andrews starring Torn Curtain, Directed by none-other-than, Alfred Hitchcock.
Listen as we combat a squeaky table, delve into Jim's love of the bleak romance of the eastern block, debate the loss of Newman's twinkle and discuss the simple, pure genius of Hitchcock and be charmed by the jazz ambiance of The Tibeca Kitchen.
We also bring back the mailbag, thanks our patrons and tell you all about a new nerdy cocktail book The Cocktail Guide to the Galaxy!
Listen and enjoy!
