THE PM HALL OF FAME!

As suggested by regular commenter on our Facebook page, the awesome Keith Mcafee, we’re starting a PM Entertainment “Hall of Fame”.

The idea here is to highlight some truly fantastic moments from PM Films but also to have the films pitted against each other for supreme, explosive, action packed dominance.

Also it’s just great fun!

There will also be a way for you to have your say - so let’s keep it interactive and see if any of the choices get overturned by a majority!

Best Explosive & Ridiculous End to a Car Chase - Executive Target

The Convoy Attack car chase sequence in Executive Target could quite simply win for best car chase as it is 7 minutes of pure insanity, squealing tires, gun fire, car flips and even a double helicopter explosion but it’s the way it ends with a continuous wall of fire, endlessly flipping burning police cars and a soundtrack with a heavenly choir adding beautiful reverence to this cacophony of carnage.

That’s why it’s my pick - have another contender? Fill in the form below!

Keith McAfee Yes - Absolutely one of the best! Hard pressed to find a more insane 7 minutes of action.

Claudio Ulrich Yes

Jason Weinrub Yes

There are many incredible stunt sequences in multiple PM Entertainment movies but the skyscraper/helicopter sequence in Rage just sticks out for me. It is also one that no matter how many times I see it, still gives me a lump in the throat. From the chase, to the rooftop hijinks, to the window-washer platform to the helicopter high fall, it’s all truly magnificent.

It is made all the more incredible when you know that Spiro Razatos, the man behind the mayhem, had to complete what usually would be 4 camera setups in 1 due to budget constraints.

Best OVerall Stunt Sequence - Rage

Reactions

Keith McAfee No - I would like to throw down Cyber Tracker 2 as a candidate. The opening scene where Don is running across the tops of parked cars as the blow up behind, is just breathing taking. Everything basically explodes with a gunshot or crash. In this flick. Lol

Jason Weinrub Yes

Best Emotional Dialogue - Skyscraper - “I Want a Baby”

PM Entertainment were not always known for their deep emotional resonance, but Jason Williard recommended the scene in Skyscraper when Carrie Wink (One Rocket Charlie), played by 90s icon Anna Nicole Smith, gets into an argument with her cop husband, Gordon Wink post coitus and exclaims that she wants a baby but may never have one because he’s too married to the force.

Personally my favourite line in the whole scene is “Well, excuse me for still believing in Sunday walks in the park, and little babies!”

Either way, this dramatic and emotional scene has earned its place here in the Hall of Fame, I think - have another contender? Fill in the form!
