The Last Temptation of Becky
We review The Last Temptation of Becky, the third part of the Becky franchise, which sees Lulu Wilson’s Becky trade her nomadic, outsmart-the-bad-guys roots for the resources of the CIA. With Neil Patrick Harris stepping in as the latest fascist villain and that long-teased key finally coming into play, we look at how this unlikely trilogy came to exist at all, what makes genre trilogies so hard to get right, and whether Becky’s final chapter delivers on everything the first two films set up.
