Season 3 - Episode 3 - The Vampire Motorcycle is Dead Again
Season 3 continues to trundle along with a consistent one episode a month sort of schedule and much like episode 1, this is another After Movie DRIVER episode as our returning co-host, Jim Wallace and myself are back driving down to The Archive and recapping the movies we watched at the weekend.
In this episode 3 the focus mainly stays on 90s Hitchcockian Noir, Dead Again - as our hosts struggle to answer the question "why Kenneth Branagh?" (which turns out to be exceptionally timely with the debut of his new film, Mayday last week) AND we discuss why growing up in 80s/early 90s Britain was just so wonderfully grim and pleasantly half arsed - in a way we pine for nostalgically - when the subject turns to low budget, horror comedy, I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle and its relation to middling late 80s television.
What happens when Brits go to Hollywood and what happens when they don't.
