This episode was recorded a couple of weeks back but we needed to finish Sleazy Spader Springtime first. Plus I get a wonderfully perverse thrill from being the podcast that is rarely ever on the cutting edge or even timely.
On this episode, two middle aged curmudgeons sit in a noisy diner and dissect just all the places that Detective Pikachu messes up, is inconsistent and doesn't even make a lick of sense when considered within its own garbage world of magical creatures and bland humans. It’s the angriest podcast you’ll hear about a harmless, throwaway film aimed at kids this year.
