Triple Threat, the Martial Arts Spectacular, Coming to Theatres in March!
As you know, we here at aftermoviediner.com are huge fans of action films. Our podcast Dr.Action and the Kick Ass Kid pokes loving fun at some of the 80s and 90s action films while really respecting them and their modern day successors. We’ve interviewed Fred Williamson, Cynthia Rothrock, Don “The Dragon” Wilson and even Triple Threat star Scott Adkins and, friend of the site, Director Jesse V Johnson, among many others. So please, understand, when I say, with no sense of hyperbole, that from the first time I heard about Triple Threat, it was one of my must watch films.
While The Expendables could boast a roster of mostly Western, big named action stars and a lot of the films that have come since, like Showdown in Manilla, have featured incredible casts of iconic action stars and martial artists teaming up, it’s pretty fair to say that if you’re a fan of the recent wave of martial arts classics like The Protector, The Raid and Scott Adkins’ Ninja films, then Triple Threat is the movie for you.
