Another 5 random Bigfoot thoughts from Owen

Another Five Bigfoot movies watched! I’ve now seen over 60. Some of those are short films, and Documentaries, but they still count. Here are some more random thoughts on the last ones I watched.

Suburban Sasquatch (2004)

It might have been a mix of great company, and me being in a good mood but I had a lot of fun with this movie.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s terribly shot, edited, acted, and the list goes on.
Even with all that, I laughed a bunch.
Grab some friends, and have at it.

The Curse of Bigfoot (1975)

My DVD transfer was dog shit.
But that wasn’t the only thing that was shit, the whole movie was.
A bunch of nonsense class room stuff, followed by a painfully dull archaeological dig.
You hardly see the Bigfoot, and when you do, it’s clearly not a Bigfoot.
This is truly a dreadful movie.

Drawing Flies (1996)

I wanted to love this View Askew Productions, but the movie just drags on.
It’s decently acted, and filmed and I can’t help but love Jason Lee but even he can’t save this.
It’s less about Bigfoot, and more about smoking weed, and talking.
I might give it a second watch, but right now I'd pass.

Savage (2011)

This one was a surprise!
None of the characters are that interesting, and it has some slow parts but the Bigfoot was interesting - it moved fast, and climbed trees!
The bad CGI, and bland ending hurts it some but, overall, It wasn’t bad!

The Last Chance Detectives: Legend of the Desert Bigfoot (1995)

A Christian television movie about Bigfoot? Sign me up!
But just like the bible itself, it was all a lie!
It was a gorilla the whole time, who escaped a poacher.
How someone stole a gorilla in the states, Fucked if I know.
I’m sure there was a moral lesson in there, I just didn’t care.
Even if the title is a huge lie, I’m counting it as a Bigfoot movie.

It was quite the mix bag of films this time. I can recommend two of them, but for different reasons. The other three are a watch at your own risk.

Hopefully you enjoyed my rambling. Feel free to recommend me some Bigfoot movies!
